April Classes

Hello and Happy Easter to you all!

My regular class attendees will know that I have had 2-3 weeks off scheduled from classes recently, partly due to Easter and partly due to the fact that I was supposed to be moving house (postponed - insert sad face!)

I thought I would take time to remind you of my upcoming classes at the end of the month.

My most popular class - the STAMP A STACK is on Friday 26th April from 7pm

We will be doing something different this time, in that all the cards will be male themed! It is £15 to make 12 cards in one evening OR FREE with an order of £45 on the night.

Then the day after - SATURDAY 27th APRIL - We have out Technique club where we will use the Dress Up Framelit dies. This is a small class where I guide you through the various teachniques and I have some fun things planned for these dresses!

Also at the same time as my Technique Club I have my Scrapbook ladies. This month our layout will be Masculine themed - the photo below was last months layout.

I would love to see you at any of the classes. Please email me for more information

Workshop order thanks!

Good morning! It's nearly almost Good Afternoon as I am so late posting today but I have been packaging up all my Stampers Club orders and tidying up this morning!

Talking of orders here are the latest batch of workshop orders that were collected by my lovely hostess Anne on Thursday! She had a bumper workshop and I hope all the ladies enjoy their goodies! Thank you for your orders again ladies.

I like to add a little tag to the orders from workshops if they get delivered to my home and this is the latest batch, very simple with the Mixed Bunch flower and matching Blossom punch and some of the Tangerine Tango ribbon from Sale-A-Bration.

For those of you who are personal friends of mine you might know that I have had a rubbish week this past week and on Thursday I was so surprised to receive these gorgeous flowers from my lovely friend Jane to cheer me up! She really is the best and they brought a smile to my face (but also made me cry as it was so lovely of her!) Thank you Jane again - I LOVE THEM!

Right I think I might get crafty this afternoon!

Easter Bunnies!

Hi there! I'm a little later than normal as I very much enjoyed a lovely lie in this morning as its the first day of the school holidays here in Yorkshire - feels a bit strange that the first day is Good Friday this year!

Yesterday afternoon I looked after my Nephew as usual! I asked him if he would like to make some Easter Bunnies that I had been keen to make after seeing them online HERE. This is the BLOG that Stampin Up USA run and its packed with lots of lovely ideas!

We decided to make 2 bunnies - 1 for Lucas and one for his Mummy!! We did the spotty one for his Mummy and the "pwain" (plain) one for Lucas!!

He really enjoyed helping me with the shapes and counting the pieces we needed. These are made with the Oval Framelit dies and the Petite Purse die - there is a list on the SU blog as to how many of each you need.

So here is the spotty one for his Mummy and this is how it looks from the back! We ran out of time to add a little tail!!!!

I had already bought Lucas a mini Lindt chocolate bunny to put in his but I didnt bank on him wanting to make one for his Mummy too so she had to have an empty one!

And here they are together!

Whilst I have your attention we found out late yesterday that Stampin Up have extended the special signing up offer until Sunday 31st March!! IF YOU JOIN MY TEAM IN THE NEXT 3 DAYS YOU CAN GET £162.50 WORTH OF GOODS FOR ONLY £99!!!!

Easter Stamp a Stacker

Good morning and yippppeeee its not snowing! I managed to get to dancing too last night and had a great time on the music decks for my last night!!

Today I am sharing the last of the cards from the Stamp a Stack, and probably the easiest one of the lot! I have to through in a couple of "catch up" cards that are a little easier and allow the ladies to catch up after the lengthier ones, this is the Easter catch up card!!

I have used the stamp set called Spring Sampler (which we were given free at Stampin Up convention - it's in the UK this year, if you join our team you could be there with us!)
This is mega simple as cards go and lots of the ladies used stamps from the set which weren't as "Eastery" to make a birthday card etc…

If you would like to attend our next Stamp a Stack its on Friday 26th April and its booking up FAST!

Thats all for now folks!

Stamp a Stacker card!

Good Morning!!

Arrrggghhh it's starting to snow again! Noooooooooo! I am hoping it won't settle! Tonight I am doing the music at dancing for the last time! I have been on the DJ decks for the last 10 weeks doing the music for the Wednesday Class whilst the owner was away in Australia and tonight is my last one!

So here is a card from our Stamp a Stack event on 1st March. I realised I hadn't shared this one with you yet. It is totally CASED from a wonderful blog HERE - Amy O' Neill!

It's a really simple but really effective card I think, and I love stamping onto Crumb Cake rather than Whisper White or Very Vanilla.

The papers are from Tea for Two suite and the sentiment and the other stamps are from the Oh, Hello set.

If you fancy coming along to a Stamp a Stack please book a place quickly as it's my most popular class that I run! The next one is Friday 26th April and its an ALL MALE CLASS - all cards will have a masculine theme!

Would love to see you there!

Another Baby Frame!

Hi there! I think I have created a monster!!! I have had another order for a baby frame! That's 3 now in total!! This one was a lot quicker to make though as I was in the zone and its much easier once you have done a couple! Probably took me an hour and a half maximum!

There are too many products to list, but I have used a colour scheme of Pool Party, So Saffron, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I have a funny story about Pool Party! I did a workshop a couple of weeks ago and I was raving about this wonderful call which they thought I called Poo Party!!!! How funny! I am not sure I would like the colour Poo Party, but I think it would be a Neutral family member???

Some of the stamps are from Bundle of Love and most of the rest is things made up of items I have punched out. The letters for the name are from the Notable alphabet which I really love at the moment!

Right I had better take Evan to school and then deliver this at some point today! I also have a few Stampin Up orders to deliver aswell today from my parties over the last week or so!

Stay warm - it's freezing here again today!

Special Birthday Invitation

Good morning and how are you!! Short week this week as the boys break up from school on Thursday for the Easter Break.

Today I am sharing a project I demonstrated at Donna's workshop last week. Donna is renewing her wedding vows this year and wanted an idea for invitations. Some of her friends are also celebrating big birthdays so this is what I came up with.

Using the Bloomin Marvelous set the ladies at the party all made the invitation insert on the right and then I showed them how they could "step it up" by making a wallet for the insert.

The colours used are Crumb Cake and Pink Pirouette!

I hope you like the design. Got to dash as its nearly school run time!

Tea for Two scrapbooking

Hello there! Well it looks like it's another day inside today all day! The snow eventually stopped in the afternoon, goodness knows how long it had been showing for!! At least 24 hours I would say!

Here is another page I shared at my Scrapbook Club this month. It uses the Tea for Two product suite and the ladies did a lot of inking and a little tearing.

We used the Oh Hello stamp set and the Feels Good set which has       some lovely sentiments for scrapbooking.

As you can see here, the Feels Good sentiment is perfect for this layout of my Ross.

I usually try to get some photos of my ladies projects but by the time I remembered, there was only Lucy left as the others had left early!

Lucy is still quite new to papercrafting but she definitely has the knack and I love this page.

Love the details!

I just wanted to share with you how deep the snow has been on Friday and Saturday! Here are my boys early on Saturday morning!!!

Keep warm folks!

Wedding Card

Hi there and thanks for all your comments on my blog today! I have been busy updating it with information for you, to make it much easier to navigate and get your hands on the details you need!!! I have also had a Facebook cover photo made to match as well as other things! You can follow me on Facebook by clicking on the Facebook Social Media icon on the top right of my blog - feel free to LIKE my Facebook page!

So here is a card I made for my friend to send to her Sister-in-Law to congratulate them on their wedding in Barbados on Thursday!!! Not very appropriate considering the "far from Barbados" type weather we are experiencing at the moment!!!!

The card is a tri-folding card made from one sheet of the Brushed Gold card which I scored at 9.9cm in from each end then I cut the corners off to create a tag style top.

I don't do a lot of embossing but I wanted a golden theme to go with the golden sand of Barbados so I used the Love and Laughter stamp set and embossed in gold! I love it when it all changes colour, like magic and sure fire WOW!!!

I cut up the flowers from the Flower Trim in the Spring/Summer Seasonal and created a little posie of flowers with some leaves from the Bird punch.

My friend was really pleased with it and I hope the Bride and Groom like it! Right I am off to "chill out" now for the rest of the evening! We have a house guest this evening all the way from France for the night, 3 boys in the house!!!!

New look blog!

Hi there and Good Morning!!

OMG the snow came down so much last night, I had to cancel poor Fay's workshop - typical on the last day of Sale-A-Bration and it looks like we will not be going anywhere today as our street is thick of it!!

SO………… I have been working on my new look blog for a couple of weeks with a fantastic designer called Tiffany at Tiffany Kuehl Designs. Do you like it?? I am still working on a few things this morning but I hope you will find it easy to navigate and less of a cluttered look.

I am so excited about it and so happy with the final version!

I'll be back with something crafty later on for you! In the meantime leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
