I am loving my new SU goodies, I cannot stop making things, so here is something else for you!!
A cute little box tutorial that I found on this fab blog from the US.
The cards inside are so teeny, they measure 3x3 inches!!!
Of course I am still on with my favourite colour combo, Certainly Celery, Close to Cocoa and Pretty in Pink but I promise that my next project will be with something different
So here is the little box with its lid, I went a bit wrong stamping the polka dots so don't look to closely, will have to do another one!!! LOL
The contents of the box, 6 cards and envelopes

And here are the little blighters!!!! Totoally cute. I used the set Seeing Spots and the Polka Dot background. Don't you just love them?

So if you are in the Leeds/Bradford area and would like to come along to a little workshop to learn how to make these please get in touch with me at julie.kettlewell@ntlworld.com
Happy crafting

As promised!

Been having real problems uploading photos on here but finally managed to get this one on.
This is a little set of cards that I made for the helpers in Evans reception class at school. They are teeny weeny little cards using the SU Hostess set "In the Spotlight".
The little card blanks are called Lovenotes and are perfect for children to send, just enough room for him to write "love from Evan x"
Colours are Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery and Close to Cocoa (again). I must try and steer away from this combo for a bit!!!
Spot the deliberate mistake on the back card, I ran out of Certainly Celery ribbon so had to use some baby pink I had in my stash.
I just love how everything co-ordinates with Stampin Up, if you struggle with colours then these products are fab for you,all the hard work is done for you!
Bye for now

Thank you Teacher

Get me!!! How organised am I getting, made some thank you teacher cards for my little boys teacher and the helpers in his class.

Thought I would get them done even though they don't break up for another 3 weeks. My son is in Reception and I cannot believe where the year has gone! He is really growing up now but I am sure he will find next year a bit hard when he moves up to Year 1, not as much playing!!

So the card is mostly Stampin Up! Close to Cocoa cardstock with Pretty in Pink.

The background has been stamped using my Polka Dot stamp and I have used the Close to Cocoa to co-ordinate. The sentiment is the Circle of Friendship stamped and then layered on circles and then onto a scallop punched piece of Pretty in Pink. The image is of course Stamping Bella - Teachabella.

Will be back later with the other cards, having problems with uploading!!

Some cards and some news!

Gosh its been ages since I blogged, so much has been happening, my wedding business is doing better than I could have hoped so its been all hands on deck!!!

Below are a few cards made using Stampin Up products which I love!!!
This first card was just a little card for Michelle who I work with at Craftwork Cards to say Well Done for passing her driving test!!!!! She has worked hard to pass and is now zooming round the streets of Leeds so beware if you are in the vicinity!!!!!
Now Michelle LOVES the colour brown, it is just her favourite!!!!
Card blank is 12cm square and I have stamped the polka dots using the Polka Dot background stamp from Stampin Up with Close to Cocoa ink.
Car image is from a Woodware Mens set stamped on the back of a CWC circle message and then I have used my Scallop punch from SU. Brown ribbon and sentiment to match

The next card was an order from my Mum for her Great Aunt who was 100 on Sunday!!!!! I wanted to make something so she could see it!!!!

The card is made using a full sheet of Lavender Lace card stock and then I have randomly stamped the solid flower from the Heartfelt hostess set using 3 colours, Pixie Pink, Certainly Celery and Lavender Lace. Name and 100 cut out on Cricut in Laveder Lace and ribbon is actually Bo Bunny but matches the Certainly Celery perfectly!!!

The next card is one of my favourite colour combos at the moment. It is Close to Cocoa, Certainly Celery and Pixie Pink. Used my new Scallop cutter which is for the Revoultion but works on the Cuttlebug. Background is made using the Paisley Embossing folder for the Cuttlebug and the hearts are from the Stampin Up Happy Hearts set

And finally I have some news!!!! I have decided after months of loving their products to become a Stampin Up demonstrator!!!!!

I am very excited and have just got my Starter Kit so lots of things to play with!!!

If you would like to order any SU products or are interested in joining a monthly Stampers 10 group please e mail me at julie.kettlewell@ntlworld.com for more information!!

Thats it for now, off to stamp!!

Naughty blogger!!

Naughty, naughty me!!!!

Gosh is it really 11 days since I blogged!!

Made a lot of cards but keep forgetting to take photographs of them!!
First up is a card I made for Sue at Slumbercards whose birthday it was on Monday. I think I only posted this on Friday and she went away on holiday that day so sorry you didnt have it for your actual birthday Sue!! I think Sue's favourite colour is lilac thats why I used lots in this card

  • Card blank - Craftwork Cards
  • Polka Dot stamp, cocktail stamp, scallop punch all from Stampin Up
  • Ribbon by Berisfords

Next card was one that I made for my little boy to give Ross for his birthday on the 5th June. He plays the guitar so decided to make a Sugar Nellie Guitar Boy.

  • All products from Craftwork Cards except stamp and ribbon (DCWV)

Last card is one I made for Ross from us. He is obsessed with Cricket and although at first I thought this was old fashioned, he really loved it!!!

Finally I would like to say a big thank you to Monica who read on my blog that it was Ross's birthday and she sent him a fab card and some yummy chocolate. Thanks Monica he was really surprised.

Thats it for now!!

What a day!

Well my littlesister got married on Saturday and the weather was fantastic, in fact the whole day was. I am shattered though. It was non-stop from 8am until Midnight
At 9 in the morning I was moving tables and setting up placecards in the wedding reception room, then I had to gt my hair done, get the boys ready, deliver all the button holes, help Claire get in her dress!!!
My big boy and myself did a reading during the service. I was very nervous for Ross but he wa a star, he read so well, even the registrars were choked up when he was reading!!
Here is a selection of the vast amounts of photos I took with my new camera, I am so pleased with the results. Let me know what you think!!!
Here are the boys, although I think Evan looks like a nightclub bouncer!!

My eldest boy, he is 9 on Thursday!!

I LOVE this photo, it makes him look so angelic!!

The happy couple!!

And again!

And another!!

And finally this is my favourite photo, my eldest took this one!!!!

Me and Robin dont have a decent recent photo so this will now become it!!
